Our professional, creative team are head hunted for their skills and knowledge in everything hair care. Each stylist is supported with continual training through the “Wella Academy” learning new skills and up to date techniques, trends and colours. Our team are always happy to advise on how you can retain your style and colour after leaving the salon.

We provide both Kerastraight and Olaplex treatments as well as a full range of quality products to enhance and maintain the natural beauty of your hair from Wella, Nioxin and Milk_Shake.

Kerastraight

Today there is a real demand for shiny, healthy and easy to manage hair this gave the inspiration behind KeraStraight’s award-winning range of treatments all available in our salon. As well as leaving the hair feeling healthy, straighter, stronger and possessing a massively enhanced shine KeraStraight will also repair and straighten the hair simultaneously. We now also offer the ground-breaking KeraStraight Ultimate treatment which combines the ease, speed and simplicity of the earliest Brazilian Keratin treatments but with the strengthening and repairing benefits of KeraStraight’s award winning protein treatments.

Olaplex is known as “The One Ingredient Changes Everything”

It was designed by scientists in Materials and Chemistry who both came the world of cosmetics and science. Olaplex has a single active ingredient which is designed to reconnect the disulphide bonds broken by the process of permanent hair colouring and lightening.

Here at The Leading edge we can say hand on heart that once you have tried the Olaplex treatment you will wonder why you have been without it before.

We provide an extensive range of colouring techniques, to bring you the latest looks and the fashion styles you see in the magazines. By adding tone to your hair we will create movement and change the style and appearance of your hair style. We can to do this by using different techniques, from highlights and lowlights, to ombre or slices, using balayage or foil techniques.

If you have not had a colour service with ourselves in the last 6 months please note that a skin test is required at least 48 hours before your appointment. It only takes 5 minuets so just pop into the salon.

We provide the full range of colours from the much acclaimed Wella pallet. They are all permanent hair colours that won’t wash out and are mainly used to cover up grey 100%. We also use these to attain a lighter shade or even if you just want to have a new colour that will last.

It’s your special day and we know fully that no bride or wedding is the same as another. We understand how important this is for both you and your family, that’s why it is imperative to have a trial so you can be completely confident with your look, style and of course your stylist.

On the trial day you will have plenty of time to try a range of looks and styles, whether it be a natural or a glamorous look you go for to compliment your dress. It’s good to know that our stylists are all professionally trained and some have worked in film, television, fashion and bridal for a number of years so you can be sure you are in safe hands. Our wedding team are available at your disposal, both on site within the salon or at a venue or location of your choice.

Our experienced and professional team will ensure that we create the look you are looking for to compliment your dress making you feel beautiful and confident. We have been catering for teenagers on prom nights for over 7 years and we work with professional MAC make-up artists who are able to deliver your desired look.

As with weddings you will be advised to have a trial day where you will have plenty of time to try a range of looks and styles, whether it be a natural or a glamorous look you go for to compliment your dress. Some of our stylists and make-up artists have worked in film, television, fashion and bridal for a number of years so you can be sure you are in safe hands.
